In The Schools…

A commencement ceremony for Class 38 of the Montana Youth Challenge Academy took place June 16 on the campus of University of Montana-Western in Dillon. MYCA is a two-phase, academic-based program located in Dillon, focusing on assisting youth ages 16-18 by helping them develop the academic and physical skills and abilities necessary to be successful.

The largest graduating class so far, 113 cadets graduated during the ceremony, including the following area students: Quinton Ackaret, Jayson Angel, Eben Arrowood, Adrian Calicutt, Brendan Carnathan, Nathan Caruso, Dajaun Castro, Maliyah Chavez, Angelina Contreraz, Tristan Downing, Karmyn Gonzalez, Kariann Helsley, Dominick Jones, Jacob Karch, Noah Manriquez, Agapito Nava, Mary Nava,  Caleb Olson, Angel Long Roach, Darrien Snow, Vincent Storlie, Nathyn Thompson, Sonize Weakley, Elizabeth Welling, De'Shauwn Williams, Rylee Williams and Brandon Yager, all of Billings, and Quaid Fluckiger, of Shepherd
